Things have been busy between Danish classes and working. But managed to fit in a cold inbetween. So, Tuesday and Wednesday were spent dragging myself to and from work in a cloud of coughs and sneezes. It's a good job that it came this week and not the coming week. Can't do anything hardcore when getting the crap kicked out of you by a virus.

The long-term project called the dining room/spisestue is edging near completion. We bought a cool 'snake' design shelving unit to keep various things on, including our collection of sprits and glasses etc. There is some clutter in there which needs relocating before Maddocks and Wuggy arrive, at which point I can call the room 'complete'.

My personal demand on having this place completed prior to their arrival is rather irrational, taking into consideration the places I've previously lived in. Possibly some form of integration into Danish society or just having a place where being house-proud is worth doing.

Today we're off to the Xmas fair in Ribe, to have a look and maybe find some nice stuff to eat and drink. Gløgg, immeadiately springs to mind ;-). Followed by dinner with the family at Vægterkælderen (http://www.hoteldagmar.dk/restaurant/index.html). Haven't eaten there yet, so another restaurant to consider to take impending visitors.

These guys would be legendary at Wacken, but the last time they played was about 1998/1999, so I reckon they're due to get another go. Here's hoping...
